Lipoprotein

Lipoprotein is a conjugated protein composed of both lipids and protein. There are 5 major classes of lipoproteins in the blood involved in the transport of cholesterol and triglycerides. They are:

  1. Chylomicrons
  2. VLDL
  3. IDL
  4. LDL
  5. HDL
