Vestibulo ocular reflex (VOR) is a reflex which stabilises the eye during head movement. Whenever our head moves, our eyes move in such a way that the image at the centre of our visual field remains constant. For example, if we turn our head towards the left, the eyes move to the right and vice versa. 

VOR is very important for stabilising our vision. People who have a defect in VOR find it very difficult to read as they cannot stabilise their eyes even during the slightest head movements.
